Coree and AJ’s wedding was held at The Curtis Hotel in Downtown Denver. If you’ve never been to the hotel before it’s filled with super fun art and lots of bright colors. We also had a chance to take Coree and AJ around to a lot of different spots in the area, and they trusted us fully. That is something we’re always incredibly thankful for, and it always helps us create our best work.
I was struck by the sweet bond between Coree and her father. Ever since we had our son, Henry, I’ve noticed that I tend to pay more attention to the parent/child connection. I suppose it’s because now I can relate to it where before I didn’t have the same awareness of it.
Coree and AJ’s First Look ended up being one of our all-time favorites, and the bridal portraits of Coree on the top of the parking garage take my breath away. The contrast between her elegance and the grittiness of the city work so well together. Another favorite from this wedding was the dancing! This group knew how to party, and it was fun when some of the girls started whipping and flipping their hair around with some head-banging. A wedding just isn’t complete without head-banging! ;)
We’re so happy for Coree and AJ. These two really are so incredibly awesome. ♥
